This is my first HDTV and I am so happy that they are not just another brand with a similar configuration, but the lowest price. At first I was afraid it might be a bit 'too big for my living space (only about 8 feet between the TV and sofa), but it turns out that it is still a great viewing experience! I have not seen anything on Blueray, but all 1080i and 780p broadcasts is just eye candy! I was also considering a 52 "Smasung, but for me it's all a bit 'too much contrast / bright because of the accent colors and saturated blacks. Sony picture seemed more" realistic "and less visible. However, there may be a personal preference .
One of the most beautiful things in this kit is well organized, easy to use menu. So even if there are thousands of opportunities to play with you, you do not really get lost in a maze. You feel like a 52 "iPhone that plays YouTube videos and shows the time:).
My favorite experience so far has been to watch movies streamed from Netflix (which I hung an Xbox 360, but you can choose to connect directly to your comp). Since their recent upgrade to streaming media, is the speed and quality of image obtained 10 times better. Previously used to get everything pixel for display on an HDTV.
If you have a lot of games for consoles, you'll probably be overwhelmed by the quality of picture and sound.
Excellent for film / games / sports partners!
Overall - better conditions for the price!
